For about ten years, maybe longer, we have been deeply involved with HubSpot.
I believe you should change your mind more often than you do. I believe you should quit more often than you probably have. And yet, I’ve been allowing past success to keep me from making serious changes.
For the last 12 years, Nectafy has focused on writing authentic, expert-led content that drives traffic and business for brainiac B2B companies. It’s been an amazing experience working with teams of billion dollar companies and solo founders alike. We’ve driven a ton of business growth over the years with our approach to organic website content. We’re still ridiculously good at this.
But, I’ve decided that it’s time that Nectafy changes gears and heads in an entirely new direction for us, a more personal direction.
With the preponderance of AI generated content filling our feeds, inboxes, browsers, and screens, the future of marketing lies not in quantity or quality, but in authenticity. As humans, we’re going to be attracted to something that is real and genuine. That’s something I want to be a part of.
I’m sure you’ve heard me say how much I don’t like social media. I don’t have a real Facebook account, an active X account, or anything else from the last 15 years. I know. I’m a neanderthal.
However, I’ve never minded LinkedIn. It’s boring, predictable, and people behave themselves more since their career reputation is at stake.
It also happens to be a fantastic place for those who make a living from what they know to build their reputation and find new clients by showing up with authenticity and perspective.
